Farm Update

Smiling @ her Momma
Skipping & Jumping in the rain

Auntie Karrie (my Big Sister) called today, to inform me that they had a new baby girl alpaca. Yay! (name to be determined) They are using Abenaqui names to honor our Native American heritage. And by the time we go out for another visit, later in July, they should have 3 Cria (baby alpacas) running around. I am looking forward to seeing them. I know "The Girls" can't wait either.

Her website is currently down but should be back up next week.
In the mean time, if you would like to contact her, here is her e-mail: karrie@abenaquialpacas.com

Auntie Karrie & Lily feeding the Alpacas
Hanging out by the chicken coop. They were all recently sheared. I wish we were around to help out. That would have been a lot of fun!
Uncle Steven (Farmer Steve) Giving some love to their Herding Dog, Katie. She does a great job and deserves a good scratching of the ears ;) The Girls, playing with Colin Their rescued Greyhound.
Daddy and Lily, checking out the cupola of the new barn.
Hiking up to the pig pens, with two tired munchkins.
I can't wait to move closer to home someday ;)

Christmas In New England

What a wonderful month. We spent our Christmas in New England visiting Family and Friends. It was great to see everyone. We spent a little time in Mass. Then we headed up to Maine, where we spent most of our days relaxing and sipping hot cocoa by the fire @ my Folks 2nd Home on the Saco. All the while my parents enjoyed playing with and spoiling the Girls. It was beautiful up there. We all took a trip to my Sister's Alpaca Farm in Sanford. Lily and Eden loved all the animals @ the farm. We all had a great time, and were sad to leave. But, we look forward to heading out to Maine again this summer. And someday we hope to move back there. We shall see what God has planned for us.My Awesome sister Karrie and her Hubby Steve, Are so good with the girls.

Lily Belle had a blast. Sha was absolutely fearless. She Called them giraffes. I thought it was fabulous! I loved seeing her so happy. I want a farm so bad. ;)
