Kate & Tim's Wedding

We went back home to New England for the weekend and It was such a Joyous Trip. My friends Kate & Tim tied the Knot In Maine. I was so excited to be a part of their wedding. Kate and I have been best friends since second grade. And I was the one who introduced Tim and Kate. They make a wonderful couple. I can't wait till they have munchkins. They will be great parents and their kids will be absolutely gorgeous! The Beautiful view the evening before the Big Day!
We brought my new camera, and Kevin took some great photos of the event.
I had the Honor and Privilege of doing a reading For Kate & Tim . They Chose 1 Corinthians 13 . I was so blessed.
I loved the dresses, but @ that moment I was especially happy that Kate chose long bridesmaid gowns, so no one could see my knees knocking. I couldn't look up @ either of them without bawling my eyes out. I am so happy for them. ;)Kate Looks Absolutely Radiant! This is My Favorite photo. The joy in Tim's eyes as he Smiles @ his Gorgeous Bride, is so precious. My wedding partner was Austin, an old friend. I was happy to see him after quite a few years. In fact I got to see so many old faces, it was quite the reunion. All of our lives are so intertwined it's awesome.
The Most Fun Bridal Party Ever! Such a great group of girls! I will treasure this day forever!
My Handsome Hubby Taking a break from snapping pictures, to take a bite of the Hors D'oeuvres. They were delish. Everything was perfect.

Farm Update

Smiling @ her Momma
Skipping & Jumping in the rain

Auntie Karrie (my Big Sister) called today, to inform me that they had a new baby girl alpaca. Yay! (name to be determined) They are using Abenaqui names to honor our Native American heritage. And by the time we go out for another visit, later in July, they should have 3 Cria (baby alpacas) running around. I am looking forward to seeing them. I know "The Girls" can't wait either.

Her website is currently down but should be back up next week.
In the mean time, if you would like to contact her, here is her e-mail: karrie@abenaquialpacas.com

Abenaqui Alpacas

From our recent trip to Maine-
Going to my Big Sister's farm is always a treat.
The girls have a blast. And Kevin and I dream of life on a farm.
Auntie Karrie & Lily feeding the Alpacas
Hanging out by the chicken coop. They were all recently sheared. I wish we were around to help out. That would have been a lot of fun!
Uncle Steven (Farmer Steve) Giving some love to their Herding Dog, Katie. She does a great job and deserves a good scratching of the ears ;) The Girls, playing with Colin Their rescued Greyhound.
Daddy and Lily, checking out the cupola of the new barn.
Hiking up to the pig pens, with two tired munchkins.
I can't wait to move closer to home someday ;)

Gamma's Home Cookin'

Yumm! How I love my Mom's Cooking! Lily Helped Gamma Prepare this dish.
As a kid I never thought I would ooh and ahh over spinach and mushrooms with bacon. But now I am all grown up, okay so maybe I'm not, But I am most definately drooling over this meal.

Mount Washington

Not a very clear day. By the time we got to the very top you could barely see the lines in the road, and you could not see the edge of the mountain. Frightening. We coudn't see a thing. We checked out the museum @ the top, and when we got out, it had cleared up a little and we were able to make it back down, safely. We packed a lunch. And stopped about half way up to have a picnic and get some family photos, it was tough, cause it was windy and cold up there. Just in case you were wondering, Kevin's shirt says I love Jerusalem. :)

When we were done we got a certificate and a bumper sticker. I am not a fan of bumper stickers, so I took some pics for memories.

Cupcakes From Karrie ;)

My sister bought these cupcakes for the girls, when we came out to visit in New England.
They were absolutely amazing and huge! I wish I could make Pastries so pretty :)
