I love this outfit, I have had it since freshman year of college. But, after getting married & having two beautiful babies, there was a time I couldn't fit into it. So I am super psyched to be wearing it again. I still can't fit into my old jeans though. Bummer! No pun intended. Skirts are much more forgiving :)
My favorite is the lotus flower. The pendant was from a necklace my friend Heather (out in Boston) had made for me, But it broke :( so I saved the flower and was able to give it new life using some crushed velvet ribbon. I love pearls and anything using shells or mother of pearl. The beauty of using ribbons is the fact that they look lovely, are super inexpensive, and I don't have to worry about my babies yanking on them and having tons of beads flying all over the place, and then having them choke on one.
