Maple Weekend

This is the second year we have gone to The Maple Farm owned by Kevin's friend Gerri, from work.

It was such a beautiful day and the girls really had a great time.
The day started with a tour of the Sugar shack, followed by a delicious pancake breakfast to benefit the veterans, and then we took a tractor ride around the farm to see all the taps and learn some more about the process. (All bundled up on the tractor ride around the farm.)

Painting @ the Picnic Table

I am so happy spring is here and we can enjoy more time outside as a family. I love to serve the Girls lunch and do crafts with them outside on the picnic table. Clean up is easy and it saves my kitchen from becoming a disaster area. Today we had some fun painting with Daddy. Lily chose to paint mostly letters and numbers and stayed very clean. Mommy and Daddy painted landscapes, While Eden did more "free spirited paintings" and got covered from head to toe ;)

Homeschooling / Unschooling

I am a Homeschooling/Unschooling momma Just starting out. I started preschool with my four year old last fall, and we both enjoyed it. I took a pretty relaxed approach, after all I want her to have fun and be a kid. I Hated public school, Yuck! So, with that in mind, I want to make learning and discovering a great experience for my Children, don't we all?!
I have learned so much, and have gotten some great ideas from other mommies in blogland, and want to continue to learn as much as I can. I am creating a blog list of Homeschooling/ Unschooling Mommas in my side bar. I believe no matter who you you are and what method you chose to teach your children, we can all gather knowledge and encouragement from each other.
