Some necklaces I made recently especially for summer. I wanted them to be light and airy. Sundress and flipflops kindof jewelry. They are not super creative or anything. I am a pretty simple girl. I mostly like pretty pendants on ribbon.
My favorite is the lotus flower. The pendant was from a necklace my friend Heather (out in Boston) had made for me, But it broke :( so I saved the flower and was able to give it new life using some crushed velvet ribbon. I love pearls and anything using shells or mother of pearl. The beauty of using ribbons is the fact that they look lovely, are super inexpensive, and I don't have to worry about my babies yanking on them and having tons of beads flying all over the place, and then having them choke on one.
